Sarkodie makes it on to of 100 Most Influential People of African Descent

Ghanaian rapper Sarkodie has been named one of the ‘100 Most Influential People of African Descent.’


He joins the likes of Farida Bedwei, Bernice Dapaah, AKA, Peace Hyde and Fred Swaniker on this global initiative that is in support of the United Nation’s International Decade for People of African Descent.

The awards ceremony for this honour will be held in New York on September 26. The ceremony will be hosted by Trevor Noah and Zain Asher. Barack Obama is one of the special guest speakers.
