Jason Derulo has arrived in Kenya to feature in the 2017 edition of the Coke Studio Africa.
The singer, songwriter and dancer is a guest star for this year’s edition. He was welcomed at a press conference that was held at a Coke Studio Africa press conference in Nairobi.
Eleven talented African artists will collaborate with Derulo in the production – Dela (Kenya), Rayvanny (Tanzania), Bebe Cool (Uganda), Mr Bow (Mozambique), Falz (Nigeria), Joey B (Ghana), Betty G (Ethiopia), Jah Prayzah (Zimbabwe), Shekhinah (South Africa), Locko (Cameroon) Denise (Madagascar) and DJ Maphorisa (South Africa).
“It’s really exciting to be here at this time when African music is taking over the world and I feel like I have been welcomed so well. Thank you to everyone who has helped make this process so amazing and comfortable…,” Derulo said at the press conference.
