Ghanaian rapper Sarkodie has promised to help push up new talents in the music industry.
While speaking at the unveiling of John Agyekum Kufuor as the patron of the Ghana Job Bank Initiative, the rapper said, “I think it is about time I gave back to those who made me Sarkodie, and that is music. So I know on my side, I think you have enough information about that and we are about to close it. Hopefully, I can help the new generation coming who do not have to go through the same same hustle that I went through coming up so that they can be even better than Sarkodie or Shatta Wale.”
The unveiling was done at the residence of John Kufuor, who is a former president of Ghana. While speaking, the former president bemoaned the increasing rate of unemployment and admonished the youth to take advantage of the favourable atmosphere created by the government to create more wealth.
