Ghanaian musician Kuami Eugene won the hearts of music lovers when he released his hit single Angela in 2017. He has followed up with another hit titled Confusion, which has been received very well by fans.
However, it appears the two songs may not be original works of Kuami Eugene. An analysis of the two songs shows a strong similarity with Fais Moi Confiance by Malian musician Sidiki Diabaté and Love Potion by South African duo Mafikizolo.
The latest hit, Confusion, strongly gives Kuami Eugene away as it completely sounds and feels like Fais Moi Confiance a song by the Malian musician Sidiki Diabaté, released in 2016.

Angela, tipped to win multiple awards for Kuami Eugene, also sounds like it was sampled from Mafikizolo’s Love Potion. Though the similarity is not as strong as that of Confusion and Fais Moi Confiance, the instrumentation is almost a match.

Will this end up like the Blurred Lines case in the United States, or the African brothers will let it pass?
